A report shown in the morning program of Pro.BG television on March 19th comments that at present about 1,000 hotels are put up for sale in Bulgaria, as part of them are offered on the site businessforsale.bg. From bungalows to five-star first-line developments are offered for sale as there are hotels whose price is similar to that of an apartment in the capital Sofia.
The Chief Operations Manager of BULGARIAN PROPERTIES Polina Stoykova says that the cheapest hotel offers start from 100,000 to 300,000 euro – these usually are small family hotels, 2-3 houses in a complex for renting out or buildings at shell stage.
The trend shows that some of the developers sell shares or look for partnerships, while other just did not know how to manage their business. The more enterprising developers turn the hotel rooms into studio apartments and sell them at a bargain price as there is a lot of interest in the and they are sold fast.
According to the Chief Operations Manager of BULGARIAN PROPERTIES the company offers completely finished apartments in Bansko at prices starting from 12-13,000 euro, as well as seaside apartments in finished complexes for as low as 7-8,000 euro.

In its March issue the Bulgarian magazine Imam Imot published an article about the actual prices of properties in Bulgaria. In it the Chief Operations Manager of BULGARIAN PROPERTIES Polina Stoykova comments that the market is getting nearer to finishing the process of price readjustment and to finding a balance.
According to Ms Stoykova the last research of BULGARIAN PROPERTIES based on actual offers and concluded deals shows that there is still discrepancy between the offer prices and the prices at which deals are concluded. This discrepancy varies between 5 and 15% for the different regions and property types.
Polina Stoykova also comments that the issue of what is the real value of properties in Bulgaria still remains. Perhaps the market is very close to finding the point of balance. According to her by the middle of 2010 the process will end and the market will reach the bottom, after which upon a positive development in the economy we could expect an increase in the deals and stable prices.
